stainless steel + concrete

I took my daughter on the East River Ferry to visit Jane's Carousel in Dumbo, Brooklyn on Friday. It is so beautiful, I was just as happy to be there as Abby was. The contrast of the beautifully restored antique horses from Philadelphia contrasted by the ultra modern glass box it sits in (designed by Jean Nouvel), all right under the Brooklyn Bridge. Are you kidding me? Everything was so well thought out, right down to the stainless steel name of the carousel carved into the concrete out front.
